The Lakeshore Invasive Species Management Area (LISMA) is a broad-based coalition that promotes effective management of invasive plant and animal species throughout the 4-county region of Fond du Lac, Calumet, Manitowoc, and Kewaunee Counties, Wisconsin.

LISMA provides the opportunity for partners to share and leverage limited resources, raise awareness about invasive species problems, and collaboratively reduce the impact and manage the invasive species on both public and private lands.

Financial support came from the WI DNR Weed Management Area – Private Forest Grant Program, Grant# WMA 13-0009, Grant# WMA 14-0009, and Grant#WMA 15-0009.

Additional financial support came from the West Foundation, Inc., WI DNR Aquatic Invasive Species Control Grant # ACEI – 167-15 as a partner working with Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership (LNRP) and the Manitowoc County Lakes Association (MCLA) on Manitowoc County Phragmites Control, and the Fund for Lake Michigan as a partner working with LNRP and the Little Manitowoc River Partnership (LMRP) on the Little Manitowoc Conservancy.
